Tirta Amphora: Water Feature with Characteristic Ribbed Structure in Red-Brown, 90 cm
The
Tirta Amphora impresses with its deep red-brown color and distinctive ribbed appearance, reminiscent of an archaeological find. Water flows gently over the finely structured surface and then carefully falls into a basin placed below. Even without a pump, the amphora serves as a decorative highlight, but with water circulation, it transforms into a lively sound and movement experience. Please note: Basin and pump are not included and can be added individually.
The Meaning of Tirta – Holy Water from Bali
"
Tirta" means "holy water" in Balinese and plays a central role in Bali's temple rituals. Water symbolizes purity, vitality, and balance. This symbolism is reflected in the
Tirta Amphora: With its warm color palette and harmonious design, it creates an atmosphere of tranquility, balance, and meditative clarity – whether in the garden, on the terrace, or indoors. The structured surface makes the water appear not only audible but also visually alive. Depending on the light, the color tone varies from earthy red-brown to copper-like glimmers.
Robust and Handcrafted – Quality from Bali
The Tirta Amphora is made from
reinforced concrete, a proven material for weather-resistant and durable outdoor objects in Bali. After casting, the surface is carefully smoothed, patinated, and the ribs finely worked out by experienced craftsmen, allowing the water to flow gently over the amphora. This artisanal finishing gives the amphora a ceramic appearance while maintaining high durability.
Reinforced concrete is characterized by its fine texture and high weight – ideal properties for securely and stably placing the water feature in the garden or on the terrace. Each piece is lovingly handcrafted in small workshops in Bali, where skilled artisans passionately create fountains, spring stones, and sculptures.
