Rimba Ceiling Light: Elegant Designer Lamp made of Teak Wood, 60 cm
The Rimba Ceiling Light is a unique design object made of solid Teak Wood, reminiscent of the powerful atmosphere of a jungle with its natural appearance and clear lines – as "Rimba" means "jungle" in Indonesian.
Like hanging vines or the aerial roots of tropical trees, the fine, vertically oriented teak wood slats shape around the light source inside. Due to the dense arrangement, the light bulb remains discreetly hidden while a warm, atmospheric light radiates into the room, harmoniously blending with both modern and rustic interior styles.
Each lamp is handcrafted with care, making it a unique piece. The noble Teak Wood is known for its durability, characteristic grain, and warm radiance. The precise craftsmanship highlights the fascinating interplay of light and shadow created by the narrow wooden slats.
With a length of approximately 60 cm and a weight of around 4 kg, the Rimba is a real eye-catcher – ideal for use above the dining table, in long corridors, or in high rooms as a stylish statement.
Delivery does not include electrical components, allowing you to equip the lamp with suitable lighting according to your individual preferences.
Rimba – The Glow of the Jungle
“Rimba” is what the Balinese call the jungle – a vibrant, fascinating place full of light, shadow, and life. The Rimba Ceiling Light is a tribute to this mysterious world: to the elegance of hanging vines and the gentle light that filters through the dense canopy.
Made from untreated teak wood, it brings a piece of primal nature into your home. The long slats resemble wooden droplets that break the light and make it shimmer like morning dew. Here, tradition, nature, and modern design merge into a special lighting object that is more than just light – it tells its own story.
The Soul of the Forest – Teak Wood from Bali
Teak wood is much more than just a material in Bali – it is considered a gift from the jungle. This robust wood comes from the densely forested regions of Central Bali and has been valued for centuries for its extraordinary durability and magnificent grain. Its warm radiance is reflected in traditional temples, houses, and artworks. For Balinese craftsmen, teak is a living material, and its processing shows respect and love for nature.

Dealer Note
Serayu Craft
Serayu Craft is more than just a store – it consists of two shops located right next to each other, operating independently. The location is opposite the duck center, a place where numerous wooden items are crafted daily.
Store one is run by a rather reserved owner and offers a wide selection of wooden figures such as monkeys, hippos, cobras, turtles, and Buddhas.
In the second store, which provides friendly, albeit limited language service, you will find extraordinary glass tables supported by elephant or octopus feet. Price negotiations often happen with hands and feet – an experience in itself. Note that during lunchtime, there is usually no one in the store.
