Mendengar Buddha Triptych made of Albesia Wood – 3-fold foldable, 100 cm height
This artistic, three-part wall art features the Mendengar Buddha, also known as the “listening Buddha,” in a posture of deep meditation and inner listening. The kneeling Buddha figure is hand-carved from Albesia wood and lovingly designed in warm gold tones, creating an atmosphere of serenity and peace.
The three foldable panels measure approximately 100 × 70 cm together and have a textured surface reminiscent of natural bark or dried earth. This contrast particularly highlights the golden Buddha representation. The wall art is not only a decorative highlight but also a symbol of mindfulness and spiritual connection in your home.
Mendengar Buddha – Symbol of Silent Understanding and Compassion
The name Mendengar Buddha translates to “listening Buddha” and refers to the special significance of this representation. Often, the figure kneels with a lowered head or places a hand to the ear – a sign of deep, compassionate listening and the willingness to perceive the hidden sounds and suffering of the world. This gesture stands for humility and a silent understanding that arises from inner reflection and contemplation.
The triptych invites you to find a moment of calm in the hectic everyday life. The three parts can be understood as an expression of the unity of body, mind, and soul or as a connection of past, present, and future. The peaceful presence of the Mendengar Buddha creates an atmosphere full of mindfulness, compassion, and inner peace.
