The artistically designed Frangipani motifs adorn the robust stone column, while the layered glass block creates fascinating light effects. The pointed roof completes the lamp with a nearly temple-like elegance. Made from reinforced stone cast and delivered in four individual parts, the Cahaya Garden Lantern guarantees high stability. Please note that it is not frost-resistant and should therefore be stored protected in winter. The lamp is delivered without electricity, allowing you to add lighting according to your preferences.

Balinese Stone Casting Art – Delicate Floral Patterns Handcrafted

Stone processing has a long tradition in Bali. While temple sculptures are usually made from solid natural stone, local artisans use finely crafted stone cast for decorative objects. This process allows for detailed reliefs and fine ornamentation that preserve the charm of Balinese art. A particularly common motif is the Frangipani flower (Balinese "Jepun"), which stands for beauty, purity, and spiritual renewal. This symbol can be found all over the island – in carvings, ritual objects, and lush gardens. To immortalize the flower in stone, experienced artisans first create detailed model forms. Then, a mixture of natural stone, sand, and cement is poured into the molds in several layers to achieve a fine yet robust surface. For added stability, the stone cast is reinforced, meaning it is provided with internal support that prevents cracks and increases durability. After curing, the fine hand finishing takes place: contours are refined and unevenness smoothed. Particularly impressive is the combination with layered glass, which captures the light and creates a magical atmosphere that changes depending on the time of day. Each piece is unique – shaped by the individual structure of the cast and the meticulous work of Balinese artisans. This combination of tradition and modern design brings tropical sophistication to any garden.
